How we handle visit data

Shield47 builds privacy infrastructure. We hold our own website to the same standard we hold the agent economy to: Do Not Track — for agents, and for you.

What we collect

• Which pages and sections were viewed, and how far visitors scrolled.
• Which links and call-to-action buttons were clicked.
• Approximate time spent on the page.
• The browser user-agent string and (client-supplied) referrer.

What we never collect

• No cookies. Nothing is stored on your device.
• No third parties. No Google Analytics, no ad networks, no external scripts. The beacon talks only to shield47.ai.
• No full IP address. Your IP is collapsed to a network block and folded into a daily-rotating salted hash before anything is written. We cannot recover your IP, and the hash changes every day, so visits cannot be linked across days.
• No names, emails, accounts, or device fingerprinting.

Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Do Not Track signal, we collect nothing — the analytics beacon does not run, and the server discards the request. The site works identically with JavaScript disabled; analytics simply don't fire.

Where it lives

Logs are stored in a plain text file on our own server, outside the public web directory, readable only by us via an authenticated request. We keep aggregate data only as long as it's useful and cap log size to prevent indefinite retention.
